Welcome to KTON
Welcome to the official documentation for KTON, an institutional-grade liquid staking protocol built for The Open Network (TON).
With KTON you stake Gram (TON's native asset, formerly Toncoin) and receive KTON, a liquid staking token that keeps earning staking rewards while you hold it. KTON is an audited implementation of TON's liquid staking (LST V2) contract, and its entire smart contract stack is open source.
This documentation is the single source of truth for the protocol. Every figure and mechanism here is grounded in the deployed contract source and live on-chain data.
What you will find here
For stakers: how staking, unstaking, yield, and fees actually work.
For developers and node operators: the protocol architecture, the loan and validator model, the round lifecycle, governance and roles, the payout-NFT receipt design, and a contract reference.
Live reference: the current on-chain addresses and parameters, and how to query them yourself.
Whether you are staking your first Gram or integrating KTON, start with the user chapters (1 to 6) and dive into the technical chapters (7 to 13) as needed.
